It’s a well-known fact that Aishwarya Rajesh is playing the lead role in the upcoming sports drama ‘Kanaa’, which is being directed by debutant Arunraja Kamaraj. While the shooting is going in a full-swing, Aishwarya Rajesh was recently clicked with the Australian cricketer Dav Whatmore.
Sharing the photo on Instagram, Dav also wished Aishwarya for her ‘Kanna’. He wrote, “Sth Indian actress Ashy, good luck in your next role as a women’s cricketer.Will be watching!!!” Dav Whatmore has coached countries like Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh.
Interestingly, Aishwarya Rajesh plays an aspiring cricketer in 'Kanaa'. However, it isn’t clear whether she met Dav Whatmore in order to prep up for her character.
Produced by Sivakarthikeyan, ‘Kanaa’ also stars senior actor Sathyaraj in a pivotal role. Music composer Dhibu Ninan Thomas has been roped in to handle the music. ‘Kanaa’ also marks Sivakarthikeyan debut film as a producer and is expected to release later this year.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rajesh recently wrapped up the forthcoming ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’, directed by Mani Ratnam. A multi-starrer project, ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’, too, will release in 2018.
