Police complaint against STR's paal abhishekam statement

Actor Simbu had recently asked his fans to have a mass celebration during the release of his upcoming film Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven. The actor had uploaded a video in which he asked his fans to erect large cutouts and do paal abhishekam and celebrate the occasion like never before. However, the statement has not gone well with the milk dealers and the Tamil Nadu Milk Dealers Association has filed a complaint against STR.
Interestingly, it was not long ago that STR had asked his fans to not have a mass celebration. He had asked his fans to not shell out extra money for tickets. He had also asked them to spend money on their families instead of wasting it on cutouts and banners. The actor took a U-turn on his comment recently.
Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven is a remake of the Telugu hit, Attarinkiti Daredi, which had Pawan Kalyan, Samantha and Pranitha Subash in the lead.
