Prashanth celebrates his birthday!

Son of actor-producer Thiyagarajan, Prashanth who was born on 6th April 1973 in Chennai, celebrates his 40th birthday today. He is famous for his twin roles in the blockbuster hit 'Jeans' where he was cast along ex-Miss World Aiswarya Rai.He celebrated his birthday at his office in T.Nagar where director Gautham Menon, actors Srikanth, Karunaas, Manoj Bharathi, Shanthanu and Nirosha turned up among many to wish the actor.
The actor, who made his debut at the age of 17 with Vaikasi Poranthachu, had gone on to establish himself as an actor to reckon with in the industry. Movies including Jeans, Chembaruthy, Thiruda Thiruda, Vana Vana Pookal, Kannethirae Thondrinal, Jodi, Parthen Rasithen went to bring the actor more accolades. His 2011 release Ponnar Shankar, in which he featured after his career setback was based on a historical epic and won critical acclaim upon release. He has featured in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi Films.
