Prashanth knows no fear

You have to hand it to Prashanth for his gutsy choices when it comes to taking on roles with different dimensions.
The actor, who is in the finishing stages of his upcoming film Mambattiyan, where he plays a Robin Hood of sorts, says that he has never been afraid to take on any character that came his way.
He explains, ���������I have always aspired to be an actor people could look up to and admire in terms of range.That���������s why, in 2004 when I got a chance to act in the film Shock, I readily grabbed it. And that film paved the way for many similarly themed thrillers in the following years.���������
He adds, ���������When I opted to do Ponnar- Shankar, it was for the very same reason. I wanted to explore my faculties in a period adventure and I am proud to have done justice to my role.���������
When asked about his film, the Pulan Visaranai redux, he says, ���������Well, the film is in its FIR (First Information Report) stage. You���������ll hear from me about it as soon as things get finalized.���������
