Journalist turned actress Priya Bhavani Shankar made her debut as a heroine with the film 'Meyadha Maan' opposite Vaibhav. She has also acted in several popular Tamil movies, and she was one among the stars who congratulated MK Stalin on the victory of the DMK alliance in the recent assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. However, Priya Bhavani Shankar was trolled for her comment, on which she gave a fitting reply.


Priya Bhavani Shankar has stated in her tweet that after a long time Tamil Nadu Chief Minister is selected by people, and it stirred up controversy.Priya then clarifies that she has studied her class 6th civics well, and has nothing to say about a nonsensical argument. She also mocked a fan for blaming her old tweet that supported Thirumurgan Gandhi and asked the fan to check for more on her timeline since she has shared a lot when she was a journalist.
On the work front, Priya Bhavani Shankar is part of almost ten films that includes 'Indian 2', 'Oh Manappene', 'Pathu Thala', and others. She is also reportedly pairing up with Vishal in her next film, which is to be directed by 'Adanga Maru' fame Karthik Thangavel.
