Priya Bhavani Shankar has recently shared her thoughts on creating a safe work environment. In a recent interview with an online portal, Priya Bhavani Shankar shared that sexual harassment is rampant in all work places, and the movie industry is no different. She urged the victims of sexual harassment to speak up. The actress stated that people have to stop blaming and shaming the victims and defer from asking questions like ‘why didn't you talk about this earlier’ and ‘why now?’
Priya Bhavani Shankar stressed that a woman being sexually assaulted has nothing to do with her profession.“We need to support women when they talk about their experiences and listen to them, instead of blaming the victims,” she added.
On the work front, Priya Bhavani Shankar is having her next big screen release titled 'Bommai' this Friday, June 16, and she is busy with the film promotion.
