Rajinikanth, the superstar actor, is set to make his next big-screen appearance in the highly anticipated film 'Vettaiyan,' directed by TJ Gnanavel, which is slated for a pan-Indian release on October 10. With less than 50 days to go until its global release, the makers have planned for an extensive promotional activities to build anticipation among audiences.
Accordingly, a massive pre-release event of 'Vettaiyan' is set to take place on September 20 at the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai. Interestingly, this particular venue has hosted several audio launches of
Rajinikanth's previous films. The official announcement about the pre-release event is already done by unveiling a couple of posters and the latest poster focuses on the main stars of 'Vettaiyan' and it's going to be a star-studded event for sure.
'Vettaiyan' boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including
Amitabh Bachchan,
Fahadh Faasil,
Manju Warrier,
Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, Rakshan, and GM Sundar, alongside Rajinikanth in the lead role.
Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for the film, and he is expected to perform the songs live at the audio launch event. The first single track, titled 'Manasilayo' composed by Anirudh Ravichander has been storming the musical platforms. 'Vettaiyan' might have lesser songs compared to the composer's previous union with Rajinikanth.
The title 'Vettaiyan' is a nod to Rajinikanth's iconic character from 'Chandramukhi'. In this film, the superstar will portray a cop, with the story reportedly inspired by a real-life incident. The post-production work for "Vettaiyan" is currently in full swing, and actors Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, and Dushara Vijayan have already completed dubbing for their roles in this high-budget drama.
