Ram Pothineni dubs in Tamil for Lingusamy’s The Warriorr

It’s known that Lingusamy is gearing up for the release of Tamil-Telugu bilingual, The Warriorr. The film stars Tollywood star Ram Pothineni in the lead, along with Krithi Shetty and Aadhi. Now, we hear that Ram himself has dubbed his lines in Tamil.
A source says, “Ram is well versed in Tamil and he recently finished dubbing for his role in both Telugu and Tamil versions of the action thriller.”
The makers released a promo video, in which Ram can be mouthing a powerful, punch-packed line in the film.The source adds, “Ram is proficient in Tamil. The main goal was to reach out to the native audience in Tamil Nadu as well, and that’s why Lingusamy got him to dub his lines in Tamil as well. The makers hope that Ram's extra efforts for the Tamil version will spark the interest of the Tamil audience.”
We hear that The Warriorr crew was also surprised by Ram's interaction with the locals in Tamil while filming in Chennai. “He was clearly excited about dubbing his lines in Tamil, which he has never done before,” the source says.
The Warriorr, which was shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, is gearing up for release this week. The film has music by Devi Sri Prasad, and the composer even got Silambarasan TR to record Bullet Song in both Tamil and Telugu. Aadhi, who plays the antagonist, told us earlier, “I will be speaking in Madurai accent in Tamil and Kadapa accent in Telugu – two accents that I haven’t explored at all – in the film.”
