Regina, Srushti to pair up with Udhay

After the positive response to his Velainnu Vanthutta Vellakaran, director Ezhil is teaming up for an untitled film with Udhayanidhi. He has roped in Regina Cassandra and Srushti Dange to be the female leads in the film, which, he says, will be a commercial entertainer.
���Regina plays Udhay���s childhood friend, while Srushti plays a girl who he meets in college and becomes friendly with.The conflict between friendship and love is what will be the highlight,��� reveals Ezhil, who adds that the actresses, however, won���t be sharing screen space with each other as their portions happen at different time periods in the film���s narrative. Udhay, he says, will be seen as a guy who is into politics in the first few minutes of the film. ���The story happens in a semi-village setting, and Udhay plays a small-time politician who gets out of politics to tackle a problem that erupts in the place,��� he elaborates.
Meanwhile, Soori plays the role of a comic villain, and Mansoor Ali Khan plays a politician who heads a caste-based outfit (the film���s actual villain). The shoot of the film is expected to start by end of this month.
