Remya to play a theatre artist in Kamal's Nadan

After his award-winning film, Celluloid, Kamal is gearing up to start work on his next. Titled Nadan, the movie will shed light on the life of theatre artists. Kamal tells us that Remya will play the role of an actress, who comes to join the protagonist's drama troupe.
'Later, they fall in love, but certain incidents lead to their break up. It's also a story of their relationship,' says Kamal, adding that the main focus of the movie will be on the theatre scene in the 80s.Jayaram will play a troupe owner, who hails from a family of theatre artists, in the film. Kamal adds, 'The story happens in the present scenario, when the protagonist is old.'
