Ritu Varma to play the female lead in Vishal-Anand Shankar film

Filmmaker Anand Shankar who directed Arima Nambi and Iru Mugan will be joining actor Vishal for his next. It’s reported that the actor will have Ritu Varma of Pelli Choopulu fame playing the female lead. The film is said to be a stylish action thriller and the team is busy finalizing the rest of the cast, crew, and location.
Vishal is currently busy with the shooting of 'Thupparivaalan 2' with Mysskin in London and he has Chakra with debutant Anand in his kitty.It’s said that the actor will complete both the above movies before he moves on to shoot for Anand Shankar’s movie. On the other hand, Ritu is part of Vikram-starrer Dhruva Natchathriam and Dulquer Salman’s Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal.
The Anand Shankar film is expected to be shot predominantly in Malaysia and the shoot is said to commence in February.
