'Rocketry - The Nambi Effect': No female lead for the Madhavan starrer

Actor Madhavan, who was last seen in the action drama 'Vikram Vedha', is all set to do a biopic on one of the legendary ISRO scientists Nambi Narayanan. The film is titled 'Rocketry - The Nambi Effect'. Produced by Tricolour Films in association with Vijay Moolan Talkies and Saffron Ganesha Entertainment, the film is directed by Ananth Mahadevan and R Madhavan.

Speaking about the film, the actor reportedly said that he was delighted to be a part of the project as he has great respect for Nambi.

He said he is extremely happy that the teaser was well appreciated by the audience and said that the film will go on floors from April 2019 in Chennai.
He further added that the film will focus on all aspects of the scientists including the time he spent in jail. Another shocking information about the film is that it will have no heroine as the story will have no scope for a female lead.
The film will be a biopic about Nambi Narayanan is an Indian Scientist who was in charge of the cryogenics division with the Indian Space Research Organisation and was a pioneer in space mission programme until he retired in 2001. He was falsely arrested for Espionage in 1994 by CBI and Kerala police department.
Madhavan has previously given us back to back hits like 'Irudhi Suttru' and 'Vikram Vedha' and had recently made his Tollywood debut in Naga Chaitanya’s 'Savyasachi'. The film is getting released in 3 Languages - Tamil, English and Hindi and will 'Rocketry' continue his success streak?
