Samar, Pardesi postponed; small films to fight

Vishal starrer 'Samar' and Bala's 'Paradesi' which were scheduled to release for the christmas weekend on 21st December have been postponed leaving the smaller films Kalla Thuppakki and Sattam Oru Iruttarai to fight it out. With theatres themselves preferring to continue with Kumki and NEP to attract the holiday family audiences, Kalla Thuppakki and Sattam Oru Iruttarai would be releasing in limited screens.
Vishal's Samar which was announced as Christmas release, is yet to be censored and trade sources have confirmed that it is being pushed to December 28. Bala's Pardesi starring Atharva, Dhanshika and Vedhika, the other talked about release has been postponed to January end.
There are also two other big other language films Salman Khan's Dabangg 2 and Jackie Chan's CZ12, which are trying for more screens.
