'Sandakozhi 2' team offers special prayers for Kerala floods victim

Actor Vishal and his 'Sandakozhi 2' team offered special prayers at Madurai Meenakshi Temple last evening (August 17) for hundreds and thousands of people who have become victims to Kerala floods. Directed by Lingusamy, ‘Sandakozhi 2’ is a sequel to the blockbuster film that came out in 2005. ‘Sandakozhi 2’ trailer has gotten a good response from fans and has clocked in more than two million views on YouTube.The makers are expected to release the first single soon.
The team wrapped shooting its portions in Madurai and has travelled to Pondicherry now for the final leg schedule. As announced earlier, Sandakozhi 2 will have a worldwide release on October 18 for the festival of Dussehra. The film features Vishal, Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Raj Kiran, Ganja Karuppu, Hareesh Peradi, Nanda Periasamy and many more prominent actors in the cast.
Jointly produced by Vishal Film Factory and Pen Studio, ‘Sandakozhi 2’ has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
