Santhanam became popular by performing comic roles in various films in Tamil and grew as a top comedian in the industry. Later, he started acting as a hero while continuing to entertain fans with his comedy dramas as well. Recently, his friend and co-star Dr. Sethuraman's death shocked the actor and he was seen attending his funeral and paying his condolences.
Now, the latest report is that Santhanam just attended the funeral of one of his fan's father.
Santhanam known to be very kind towards his fans and is very fond of them as well. He has shown his support to many of them in the past. Santhanam’s Fan Club President Kumaravel's father passed away yesterday in Sriperumbudur due to an illness. Santhanam, who has currently quarantined himself at home, was saddened on hearing the news of his fan’s father's demise and so decided to personally visit Kumaravel's home. He reportedly paid homage to his fan’s father in person and even stayed till the end of the funeral. His kind gesture is now being praised by his fans.
On the work front, Santhanam's 'Server Sundaram' has been long-delayed for release, and it is expected to be released after the theaters are reopened. Also, his films 'Dikkilona' and 'Biskoth' are heading steadily and it is going to be back to back releases for the star.
