Santhanam finally gets a love story

Ok, fans of actor Santhanam can rejoice because in his forthcoming film Kandaen, the actor has a pair with whom he will romance on screen.
Talking about Santhanam���������s role, debutant director Mugil says, ���������As he did with Boss Engira Baskaran, Santhanam has been raving about his character in my film. He plays Shanthnoo���������s friend and comes throughout the film.Though he has a pair in the film, she comes only in the last few scenes.���������
The team has roped in a model, Nimmi, to play the role.
Quiz him if this is the same actress who was reported to have created a flutter on the sets by disappearing all of a sudden and Mugil answers diplomatically, ���������I���������m not at liberty to discuss her personal life. We were shooting in Hyderabad when this incident occurred. However, we convinced Nimmi to finish shooting for her part and she willingly obliged. So, we have no complaints.���������
Meanwhile, Mugil, an associate of Prabhu Deva, says he���������s happy he got to shoot his film in interesting locations. ���������After Dum Dum Dum, Kandaen is probably the only film to have been shot at the Tanjore Brahadeeswarar temple. Our producer TCS sir and his team helped us a lot in getting permission through proper channels to shoot a scene inside the temple premises. We shot the heroine, Rashmi Gautham���������s introduction scene there.���������
