Shanthnu receives hate for praising Ajith's Valimai look

It is well known that actor Thalapathy Vijay and Shanthanu share a great friendship, and their bonding is well known to everyone. Shanthanu shared screen space with Vijay in the recent action drama 'Master', where he locked horns with him. But one social media post by Shanthnu praising Ajith's looks in his upcoming film 'Valimai' has not gone down well with the fans of Thala Ajith.
The much awaited first look motion poster of Ajith's 'Valimai' directed by H Vinoth was released recently. Yesterday, another pictures of Ajith sitting on a bike with a helmet on the petrol tank was going viral on social media. Actor Shanthnu shared a post with the picture and he said, "#Thala looks super smart in this picture." (sic)

Looks like the young actor has been receiving hate commments from the netizens calling him a Vijay fans and that he doesn't need to talk about Ajith. Shanthnu seems to be surprised that what ever is spoken on social media is taken only in negative sense.

He went on to say that one should think a lot before posting even a positive comment on social media, which has become very dangerous.

Meanwhile on the work front, Shanthanu will be next seen in 'Murungakkai Chip', and the recently released song 'Talku lessu worku moreu' is doing well on the musical platforms. Shanthanu is also part of 'Raavana Kottam' with Vikram Sukumaran, and 50% of the film shooting has been completed.
