Shooting of spy thriller Jana Gana Mana wrapped up

Jayam Ravi’s next flick is Bhoomi, directed by Lakshman. The film is special for the actor as it’s his 25th movie. He has been busy with Ahmed’s spy thriller Jana Gana Mana, too, the shooting of which took place in different countries. The Manithan filmmaker took to Twitter on Wednesday evening to announce that the shooting of the film has been wrapped up. He posted, “shoot schedule wrap.# jana gana mana.” Billed as a one-of-its-kind thriller in Tamil cinema, the director had earlier revealed that the team had done pre-production for more than a year as the shooting involved locations like Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan.
Apart from Ravi, Taapsee, Arjun, Rahman, Dayana Erappa, MS Bhaskar, Iranian actress Elnaz and KGF fame Ram play crucial roles in the film. Hollywood action director Glenn Boswell, who have coordinated stunt in films like The Matrix, The Hobbit, X-Men Origins, etc, has been roped in to helm action scenes for this big-budget project, which according to Ahmed, highlights the aspect of humanness. The movie, which will be releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, has National Award-wining stunt director Anbariv also being a part of it.
