Shriya in action mode

It's time for action for Shriya, as she is all set to perform some high-volatile stunt scenes for her forthcoming Chandra. The recently-canned Kalari sequence is just one among them.
We had recently reported how Shriya was excited about performing a Kalari fight in the film. Director Roopa had then said, "We shot the sequence near a monument in Nandi Gram in Bangalore for over two days.This scene comes at a juncture when Shriya, who plays a princess, signals Prem, a master in Kalaripayattu, for a duel. It's more romantic than aggressive, and the two actors have done a great job."
A source says, "She received training in Kalari under the able guidance of Sagar aasan for a stretch of two months. Choreographer Ravi Varma and Roopa Iyer created a nice concept for this sequence."
