Prashanth, who plays the lead in the film, confirms, Simbu recorded the song last week. He was shooting for a couple of his films and dropped in one night to sing the remix version of Kaattu Vazhi. The album will also have the plain version of the song, which has been sung by my father Thiagarajan. Kaattu Vazhi... was a chartbuster when it released in 1983.
