Simbu eager to release 'Eeswaran' during Pongal 2021

Simbu has been anxiously waiting to make a strong comeback, and he has lost more than 20 kgs to become super fit. Simbu has completed 'Eeswaran' with Suseenthiran in a record time and has started the shooting for the political thriller 'Maanadu' with Venkat Prabhu. Now, the latest buzz is that Simbu is eager to release 'Eeswaran' for Pongal. Suseenthiran directorial 'Eeswaran' is planned to release during Pongal 2021 from the beginning, and makers are working actively towards it.
But there is thought on the internet that Simbu's 'Eeswaran' might get affected since Vijay's 'Master' is almost locked for Pongal release, and theater owners are also keen to release the film on big screens.Now, Simbu has reportedly decided not to step back from his plan, and is eager to release 'Eeswaran' on the Pongal day which is on January 15. However, it won't be a problem for the film release since 'Master' will be releasing two days ahead of it. It is worth noting that the teaser of both films 'Eeswaran' and 'Master' was also released on Diwali.
Simbu last clashed with Vijay at the box office during Diwali with 'Osthe'. Both stars' films received well, while Vijay's 'Thuppakki' turned out as the first 100 crores for the star.
