Simran to pair with Mohanlal again

Simran, who ruled the roost in Kollywood once, has now decided to get active into cinema after a break, post her marriage and delivery. The actress, will play Mohanlal's heroine in director Jeethu Joseph's forthcoming film. The director is busy with the pre-production work and the shooting of the film will start on September 18.
The buzz is that Priyamani was the original choice for the role but things didn't work out and Simran came into the picture. It seems to be a smart move by the actress as by this she will keep herself busy with her acting commitments and will also show her acting prowess.
Simran will be playing Suriya' mother in Gautham Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram, in which Suriya plays the lead. Interestingly, she had played Suriya's mother in Gautham Menon's Vaaranam Aayiram not very long ago.
