Sivakarthikeyan begins shooting for his next 'SK 14'

'SK 14', starring Sivakarthikeyan and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles, has piqued interest since its announcement. The recent update is that the team of 'SK 14' has resumed shooting today.

We had earlier reported that actress Isha Koppikar who made her debut in Tamil with 'Kadhal Kavithai', was set to make a comeback with this film that also marks a first-time collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan and Rakul.

Touted to be a sci-fi film, R. Ravikumar of 'Indru Netru Naalai' fame has directed the film. Oscar winner A. R. Rahman has composed music for the project being bankrolled by RD Raja's 24 AM Studios and starring Isha Koppikar, Bhanupriya, Yogi Babu, Karunakaran in vital supporting roles.

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan who turned a year older yesterday is eagerly awaiting the release of his next titled 'Mr Local' which is expected to hit the screens on May 1. Earlier the teaser of the film was released and received an overwhelming response from fans and audience. He also has another film with PS Mithran in the pipeline.
