Sivakarthikeyan's 'Maaveeran' release postponed to July

Sivakarthikeyan will be next seen in 'Maaveeran', which is directed by Madonne Ashwin, and the busy actor has completed shooting for his portion. But the filming of 'Maaveeran' is not yet completed, and the director is filming the portions of other stars. Now, the latest report suggests that Sivakarthikeyan's 'Maaveeran' release will be pushed to July. 'Maaveeran' was initially planned to be released in June for the occasion of Bakrid.But Udhayanidhi starrer 'Maamannan' is aiming for the same weekend, and the makers of 'Maaveeran' have reportedly shifted their plan.
As theatrical distribution rights of 'Maamannan' and 'Maaveeran' are captured by the same production house, the makers of 'Maaveeran' decided to make the way for the former to release ahead. 'Maaveeran' is reported to be an action entertainer, and the film will see Sivakarthikeyan performing some high-level stunts. Aditi Shankar plays the female lead, while Mysskin and Sarika play crucial roles. Bharath Shankar is scoring the music, and the film's first single 'Scene ah Scene ah' is doing well on musical platforms.
Directed by Mari Selvaraj, 'Maamannan' features Udhayanidhi in the lead role. He will be focusing more on his political career, hence ‘Maamannan’ holds a huge importance in Udhayanidhi’s showbiz career. Keerthy Suresh plays the leading lady, while Fahadh Faasil has roped in as the antagonist in the social drama.
