Soori on an educational advertisement on social media: It is a hoax

A commercial noting that comedy actor Soori is running an educational trust to help poor students is circulating on social media recently. The actor has now taken to Twitter to clarify that it is a hoax and stated that the advertisement has nothing to do with him.
The advertisement claimed that the students who are willing to pursue education in engineering college should attend an event at a college in Madurai to get their funds sanctioned.Stating that the advertisement is fake, actor Soori wrote, “We have nothing to do with this advertisement whatsoever. The picture you see in the advertisement was shot at an event which I attended. Using that picture, they have designed such an advertisement. We have called those who put out this advertisement and asked them not to put out such wrong advertisements. Legal action will be initiated against those who don't heed the warning.”
He also added that he has nothing to do with the event that is organised in Madurai, He said, "The help that we provide to students to pursue their education is something that is done in private. We have nothing to do with this event. Issuing such advertisements in the garb of providing free education funds and making education a business is not good for society."
