Singer MJ Sriram is playing the role of a chef in the Tamil remake of Band Baaja Baaraat, starring Nani and Vaani Kapoor. Interestingly, the singer, who is popular in Chennai���s music circles, will be playing a sardarji in this project. While he has already shot for most of his portions in Chennai and Mysore, Sriram will be completing his schedule in a few days��� time.

So, why did he chose this role? ���Well, I���ve watched the Hindi original and I liked this character a lot. Though he comes only for some time, it was enjoyable watching this particular character, and even more enjoyable playing it.���
