‘Superhero’ Jai takes on two villains at once

Even as he’s awaiting the release of Neeya 2, Jai is busy shooting for Andrew Pandian’s 'Breaking News', in which he’ll be playing a superhero. And in this fantasy drama, he’ll be fighting not one, but two villains — Rahul Dev and Dev Gill.A source says, “While Rahul is best remembered for playing the antagonist in Ajith’s Vedalam, Dev had made his Kollywood debut with Vijay’s Sura, in which he played the villain. The two have been roped in for this movie News because the makers wanted to have strong negative leads for Jai’s character to take on.”Debutant director Andrew, who worked as a VFX supervisor on films like Anniyan, says, “Both Rahul and Dev have amazing physiques and a great screen presence. They will play dons who are brothers.”
