Tamil stars Suriya and Jyothika, along with their children Diya and Dev, were spotted at Mumbai airport, appearing to be heading out of town. The couple recently lauded Ranveer Singh's film 'Dhurandhar' as a masterpiece. Suriya's last film, 'Retro', a gangster drama, garnered mixed to positive reviews and performed moderately at the box office.
Tamil star Suriya, with his wife and actor Jyothika were spotted at Mumbai airport. The actor was also accompanied by the kids Diya and Dev as they made their way to the airport terminal.

As per a report by IANS, Suriya and his family were clicked coming out of their car as they went in. Suriya walked along with his wife and kids, guiding them towards the terminal. The ‘Retro’ star was donning a pastel coloured polo t-shirt and wearing beige coloured pants to go with it. On the other hand, Jyothika went out for a comfortable shirt with a floral pattern on the wrist and white pants. Their children were also dressed casually. The family seemed to be heading out of the city.Suriya and Jyothika are one of the most loved couples in Tamil cinema. The two met in the late 1990s and later worked together in several popular films, including ‘Poovellam Kettuppar’, ‘Perazhagan’, and ‘Sillunu Oru Kaadhal’.

Couple call ‘Dhurandhar’ a masterpiece

Recently, the couple heaped praise on the Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Dhurandhar‘ directed by Aditya Dhar. On Suriya’s X (formerly Twitter) handle, they wrote, “Thank you @AdityaDharFilms for giving this masterpiece. #Dhurandhar what a movie! Completely blown by your craft...

About ‘Retro’

On the current work front, Suriya was last seen in ‘Retro’, which received mixed and largely positive reviews upon its release. The film had a little underwhelming impact on the box office as it made over Rs 96.97 crore worldwide. The film tells the story of a gangster who promises to give up his violent life at his wife’s request. However, his past comes back and he must resolve it.
