It is also stated that as the movie was completely shot in Sathyamangalam forest, the director chose to shoot the film on phone. Featuring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, the movie is gearing up for its release.

The entire film was shot on iPhone 11. The director reportedly citing the development of smartphone usage, stated that if audience prefer to watch the movie on phone, why can't it be shot on a phone. The film's shooting has been completed and will be releasing in 2023.

'Adadae' is a Tamil film directed by debutant Kamal Saro Muni. The movie was released in 2019. The entire film was shot on iPhone5. Director Kamal reportedly stated that it was a challenge to make the film and he added that his experience and passion of graphic designing helped him to complete the film's shooting and editing. The director chose to shoot the film on a phone as he wanted to focus on cost cutting.
