Tamil Traffic remake starts

T he Tamil remake of Traffic, which is titled Naangu Vazhi Saalai, was launched a month ago and the shooting for the same has commenced. The film, which stars Sarath Kumar in the protagonist���s role, originally essayed by Sreenivasan, has an ensemble cast that includes Prakash Raj, Nasser, Prasanna, Radhika Sarath Kumar, Ramya Nambeesan and Parvathy Menon.
Shahid Khader, who makes his debut as a director with this film, says, ���I���m adapting a few of the sequences to suit the Tamil market, but the essence of the story is the same, since it won so much of acclaim and fanfare when originally done in Malayalam.���
