Thalaivasal Vijay to play Sai Baba

Thalaivasal Vijay, who was seen playing versatile roles in several films, will essay the role of Sai Baba in his next, Apoorva Magaan. Talking about the film Vijay says, ���After playing the role of Narayana Guru in Malayalam, this film will see me in a challenging role. When director Manimuthu offered me the role, I was quite surprised. I am a Baba devotee myself and I thought I must be really lucky to get this offer.Though I wasn���t really particular about the payment, I was very keen on the makeup and the look. In fact, I did the makeup test first to see if I would be able to carry it off. ���
Though Nagarajuna has essayed the role of Sai Baba in a Telugu film, Vijay says he didn���t look for any reference for his character. ���I didn���t want to be influenced. Instead, I did a lot of research work for my role. It is not like any other character, where I give my own twist. So, I made sure I got my facts right before I shot for the scenes,��� says Vijay.
The actor says that he���s more confident now. He adds, ���I feel some of kind of divine vibration when I was working in this film. I am more positive and confident now. I am really glad about working in this project.���
