Popular actor Ajith will be next seen in 'Valimai' which is directed by H Vinoth. The shooting of the film began in Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad last December, and reportedly Ajith will be playing the role of a police officer in 'Valimai'. However, ever since the mahurat pooja of the film was done, there have been no official announcements regarding 'Valimai' from the producer or director of the film.Now, fans of Ajith, who have been waiting for long to hear an update regarding the film are getting restless and have resorted to complaining to 'Anniyan' against 'Valimai' producer Boney Kapoor. The 2005 Shankar directorial, 'Anniyan', which starred Vikram, was a blockbuster hit at the box office. The film centered on a disillusioned individual, who gets desperate with all the social apathy and increasing public disregard around him, resulting in him suffering from the Split Personality Disorder. As opposed to the naïve and vulnerable individual that he is otherwise, the other personality turn out to be a ruthless one, out to establish order in society by dispensing justice on his own.
Now, with the so-called injustice of no updates being given to fans about Ajith’s ‘Valimai’, they are using stills from Vikram's 'Anniyan' to create memes about complaining against Boney Kapoor to Anniyan on his website for addressing their grievances. Also, fans have been making the hashtag #WeWantवलीमईValimaiFL trend on social media.
Speaking about ‘Valimai’, Ajith has teamed up with H Vinoth and Boney Kapoor after their super hit film 'Nerkonda Paarvai', and it was announced that the whole crew of 'Nerkonda Paarvai' would be carried forward for 'Valimai'. However, details about the female lead and the antagonist of the film has still not been officially announced. It is being said that Huma Qureshi and Karthikeya will be playing the respective roles but there have been no updates about the same.
Meanwhile, the director of 'Valimai', H Vinoth, is reportedly filming some portions in Chennai, and next, the team will be heading to Hyderabad. Also, the first look poster of Ajith from 'Valimai' is expected to be released on the occasion of the Tamil New Year on April 14.
