Ajith’s ‘Thunivu’ was released in theatres on January 11. The film is based on the real events of a bank robbery that happened in Punjab decades ago. Now, following the movie’s inspiration, a man from Dindigul in Tamil Nadu reportedly tried to rob a bank. According to news reports, a 25-year-old man allegedly attempted to rob a bank in Dindigul. Planning for the heist the man had bought pepper spray, chilli powder and plastic tags.
Reportedly the man tried to overpower three bank employees but was nabbed by the public and police when they were alerted by one of the bank employees. The incident has been creating buzz on social media. Reports stated that the police have taken control of the situation and the incident took place at one of known banks on January 24.
Directed by H Vinoth, the bank heist action thriller, ‘Thunivu’ stars Ajith and
Manju Warrier in the lead roles and John Kokeen, Samuthirakani playing in supporting roles. The music for the movie was composed by Ghibran.
On the work front, Ajith is all set to start the shooting for his next film ‘AK 62’ with
Vignesh Shivan from February. Reportedly the actor has taken a small vacation before starting the work on his new film. The video of the actor at the airport is now doing rounds on social media.
