Trap City teaser: GV Prakash plays a doctor in the Hollywood film

Music director turned actor GV Prakash is getting set for his Hollywood debut in the film, Trap City, directed by ‪Ricky Burchell to release soon. The film is about a drug peddler turned successful rapper starring Brandon T Jackson and Dennis LA White. Interestingly, the film has Tamil actor GV Prakash and Napolean in important roles. The makers have now released the teaser of the film.
Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi released the teaser of the film through his social networking page. The film is produced by Tel Ganesan of Kyybafilms, who had earlier produced two Hollywood films - Christmas Coupon and Devil’s Night and Dawn of The Nain Rouge, that actor Napoleon had starred.

The film is said to be about a struggling rapper working as a drop man for a drug kingpin, records a song that becomes a viral hit hours before his arrest. His fame intensifies because of his crime but after an attempt on his life, he will face the choice of going to prison and destroying his career, or testifying against a dangerous crime boss who will not fail a second time.

Interestingly, the teaser reveals that GV Prakash plays a doctor treats Brandon T Jackson in hospital and apparently convinces him to consider singing. Meanwhile, looks like Napolean plays a music producer, who seems to be enjoying a song recording session in the teaser.
