Two Tamil releases for Valentine's Day

Two small films are set to clash at the Box Office for the Valentine's Day(February 14)- Sillunu Oru Sandhippu and Vanayudham. While the former has Vimal, Dipa Shah and Oviya in the lead, the latter is a biopic on Veerappan, and has Arjun Sarja, Kishore and Vijayalakshmi in the lead.
Bala's Paradesi was earlier believed to release on Valentine's weekend, but the official date of release is not out yet.The film, we hear, will be distributed by Aascar Films and will most likely hit screens on February 22.
Sillunu Oru Sandhippu is romantic entertainer and a fight had broken out among the two leading ladies over trivial matters during the shoot of the film. The film is directed by Ravi Lallin.
Vanayudham, on the other hand, is a biopic on the slain forest brigand Veerappan. The film is produced and directed by AMR Ramesh and was mired in controversies when Veerappan's wife Muthulakshmi got a stay order from the court thus preventing its release as she believed that she was portrayed in a bad light in the film.
Now that the court has cleared the film, it's all set to hit screens this week.
