Udhayanidhi's next is a family entertainer

After winning praise for her performance in Oru Naal Koothu, Nivetha Pethuraj has been roped in to play the female lead in Udhayanidhi Stalin's next film. The film will be directed by newcomer Thalapathy Prabhu, who has worked under Vikraman and Ponram.
The untitled film will have actor Parthiban in a crucial role, while Soori will be seen as the comedian.Imman has been brought in to compose the music for this film, which is currently in pre-production stage. 'The film will be a fun family entertainer like Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan. The director, and the core crew are now on a recce to scout locations for the film. Udhayanidhi will shoot for this film simultaneously with his film with Ezhil,' says a source, who adds that shoot of the film will start on September 19 in Theni. The makers are planning to release it for summer 2017.
