'Vaadivaasal' team releases footage of Suriya's training with Jallikattu fighters

On the birthday of actor Suriya, the team of 'Vaadivaasal' movie have released a video of the National Award winning actor training with Jallikattu fighters. The news was announced by the producer of the movie Kalaippuli S Dhanu.
Sharing the video, he wrote, "To celebrate the birthday of National Award winning actor @suriya_offl we are happy to release the special footage of him training with the Jallikattu fighters for #Vaadivaasal"
Responding to the tweet, actor Suriya said, "Thank you @theVcreations Thanu sir and dear @VetriMaaran for this special clip!"

The raw and gritty video shows Suriya entering the battle ground with Jallikattu fighters to tackle the bulls.The footage sets the expectations of what's in store for us and the dedication of the team. The video was titled with a tagline 'Not a teaser' to avoid causing confusion among the fans and general audience.
The movie ‘Vaadivaasal’ is adapted from the novel which is about the bull sport Jalikattu. This film is one of the most awaited projects as it is the first time Suriya will be acting in Vetrimaaran’s direction.
If you remember, the test shoot for the film was held in April 2022, on the outskirts of Chennai. The images from the test shoot of Suriya along with the bull went viral.
On the professional front, Suriya has a few more projects in the pipeline with directors Siva, TJ Gnanavel, Sudha Kongara and R Ravikumar. It is also expected that Suriya will sign his project with director Lokesh Kanagaraj in 2023 for ‘Vikram 3’.
