Vasundhara not into commercial cinema

Actor Vasundhara Kashyap is back in the Shiva-starrer, Sonna Puriyadhu, which will be releasing soon. The film is directed by Krishnan Jayaraj, who was assistant to director C S Amudhan in Tamil Padam. This movie will showcase the story of voice dub artists who help in translating foreign language films. Blade Shankar an other RJ who also playing as a voice dub artist in the movie as Shiva's friend.
Vasundhara role in the film is a meaty character with lots of scope to perform. She plays a TV presenter of religious shows who is against the concept of arranged marriage. She wants to carve a niche for herself in life and is like any other modern youngster of today.
The young actress says she is not into commercial cinema and cant just do roles where she doesn't have nothing much to do except laugh, cry or smile prettily. The actress looks for something substantial and meaningful in her characters. That���s why I take time to accept offers.
Sonna Puriyathu produced by 360 degree film corp is a comedy caper starring Shiva and Vasundhra Kashyap in lead roles. It has music by debutant Yathish Mahadev.
