The 'Settai' crew were in for a surprise recently when ace director Mani Ratnam walked into sets and gave pleasant surprise to complete team. R Kannan, a former assistant to Mani Ratnam is directing the film starring Arya, Premgi and Santhanam. If it was the guru surprising his sishyan and his crew then, it was time for the elder brother to pay visit to his younger brother's sets.
Director Venkat Prabhu was is busy with his Karthi starrer 'Biriyani' dropped in the sets of 'Settai' which has his brother Premji paying an important role. A mass song for Premji was being shot yesterday and Venkat Prabhu who was also shooting in a close by location visited the sets and kept the team energized.
The song 'Nee thane osathe ponna' was being shot at Binny Mills when the director paid the visit and it is said that Premji was full of energy and danced brilliantly for the mass song.
UTV's south head, G. Dhananjayan posted the news on his twitter page, "Thanks to Director @dirvenkatprabhu for dropping in from his shoot next door for #Biriyani & keeping the #Settai team energized". Bannered under UTV Productions, 'Settai' is the remake of Bollywood hit 'Delhi Belly'.
