Vettai shoot interrupted!

Politician demands an audience with Arya and Sameera...
The Vettai unit, which is shooting in an engineering college in the outskirts of the city, were in for a rude shock on Friday when a politician landed up on the sets and demanded that he gets an audience with Arya and Sameera, who stars in the film along with Madhavan and Amala Paul.
The incident happened when they were in the middle of filming an important scene for the Linguswamy-directed flick that���s almost complete.A source in the unit says, ���A scene involving Arya and Sameera was being shot when the politician arrived in a car. The other people in the car with him got out and demanded that they meet the actors of the film. Despite stating that it was not possible then, they refused to budge. Arya came out to meet them and told them that the shot they were filming then had to be completed. But, they refused to leave the place and almost barged in.���
That���s when director Linguswamy lost his cool, adds the source. ���Till then, things were going smoothly on the sets. The filmmaker is working extra hard to complete the film so that it gets ready to release by Christmas or so. He got very worked up at the interruption. But he immediately ensured that the stars were escorted safely to their caravans.���
When contacted, Sameera Reddy said, ���I was very frightened when the whole ruckus happened. I���m shocked that such a thing can happen in Chennai.���
