Prakash Raj earlier dubbed for Amitabh Bachchan in Tamil, and the prevue of 'Vettaiyan' had the former's version for the latter. But it disappointed fans and they took to social media to share their opinion. 'Vettaiyan' makers took fans' feedback seriously and they used AI to enhance Amitabh Bachchan's voice.
The audio launch of 'Vettaiyan' was held in Chennai on September 20, and the grand event with the presence of popular stars boosted the buzz. Rajinikanth appeared in a black shirt for the 'Vettaiyan' audio launch, while snippets from his motivational speech at the event have surfaced on social media.
Directed by TJ Gnanavel, 'Vettaiyan' has Rajinikanth playing a cop and the film has an ensemble star cast that includes Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, and
Ritika Singh in supporting roles.
