Income tax raid at 'Viduthalai' producer Elred Kumar premises

Elred Kumar is known for producing the super hit Tamil films 'Vinnai Thandi Varuvayaa', 'Ko', and several others under the banner RS Infotainment. The popular producer is next producing Vetri Maaran's 'Viduthalai' featuring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in the main leads. However, in the income tax raid that took place yesterday in the premises owned by Elred Kumar, and the raid took over more than 24 hours across places. As per the Income Tax Department, It has been found that fake receipts, a few false accounts were created through which around sum of crores are invested, but the producer is yet to respond on the raid yet.
Moreover, Elred Kumar is also having several stone quarries in Tamil Nadu and supplies materials across the state. The stone quarry business is said to be the main business of Elred Kumar and the success in the business had driven him to cinema production.
Popular producer Elred Kumar landing in a serious issue has come as a shock to Kollywood. Meanwhile, fans are worried about 'Viduthalai' since the film's release might get delayed.
