Vijay, who was shooting in Las Vegas for his upcoming film 'Sarakar', returned to Chennai early monring today. The star actor, after travelling a straight 22 hours, went directly to the Marina from the airport and paid homage to the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister

Thalapathy Vijay had visited Kauvery Hospital to check on Kalaignar’s health condition with MK Stalin, son of the late DMK Supremo before leaving to Las Vegas for a song shoot for the film, directed by AR Murugadoss. Pictures from the peppy song sequence that was shot with foreign dancers has been going viral on the internet.

Sarkar' directed by AR Murugadoss, was even stopped on August 8, as a mark of respect to the demise of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) patriarch Kalaignar Karunanidhi.
Made on a lavish budget by Sun Pictures, ‘Sarkar’ stars Radha Ravi, Pala Karuppiah and Yogi Babu in supporting roles with Keerthy Suresh playing the female lead. The final schedule of the shooting is reported to start in Chennai soon.
