Vijay Sethupathi's Seethakathi has completed two years since release. Seethakathi was an experimental art film that was written and directed by
Balaji Tharaneetharan.

Seethakathi was appreciated for its content and it's unique structure of storytelling.
Vijay Sethupathi had played veteran theatre artiste, Ayya Aadhimoolam and had received rave reviews for his performance as an old man. The star cast for the film included Mouli, Mahendran,
Archana, Gayathrie, Ramya Nambeesan, Parvati Nair, Karunakaran, Bagavathi Perumal, Rajkumar and
Sunil Reddy. Music for the film was by Govind Vasantha, cinematography by Saraskanth TK and editing by R Govindaraj.
Balaji Tharaneetharan and Vijay Sethupathi had earlier teamed up for the film, Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom, which was based on a real-life incident.
