'Vishwaroopam 2’ new trailer: Kamal Haasan’s film looks like an explosive thriller

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is finally set for the release of the highly anticipated thriller ‘Vishwaroopam 2’. As a surprise treat for fans, Kamal Haasan unveiled a new trailer of ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ at the popular reality show on Saturday. The one-minute trailer has several explosive moments to look forward to in the sequel. Needless to say, the teaser has gone viral across social media.
The new trailer begins with an army general outstering Wisam Ahmed Kashmiri on the charges of treason, after which the film goes back and forth between Wisam’s past and present.Set in India, the sequel will take on global terrorism, just like the first part. ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ is a continuation of the first part and is also reported to be a prequel to ‘Vishwaroopam’ that became a monstrous hit in 2013.
Directed by Kamal Haasan, ‘Vishwaroopam 2’, features Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Shekhar Kapur, Rahul Bose and Jaideep Ahlawat in pivotal roles. Jointly produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and Aascar Films, the sequel has music by Ghibran.
It must be noted that ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ is set for a solo release in August with literally no competition from any other releases.
