Viswasam preview: Thala Pongal for Ajith fans this year

Thala Ajith’s Viswasam is all set to hit screens on January 10 ahead of Pongal. This is the fourth time Ajith has paired up with Siruthai Siva after Veeram, Vedhalam and Vivegam. The trailer of the film was released a few days ago and Ajith was on fire. He was seen in a rustic avatar taking baddies head on in the action drama. ‘Yen Kadhaiyila naan villain da’ dialogue along with other punch lines he speaks is sure to make the audience erupt with a thunderous applause.

Ajith will be playing Thookudurai, sporting a handlebar moustache wearing a veshti, the trailer shows Ajith wearing a veshti in almost all scenes, assuring the film is set in rural backdrop.Ajith will be romancing the Lady Superstar Nayanthara, which is a huge boost for the film. The last time Nayanthara paired up with Ajith was in Arambam. Jagapathi Babu, will be playing villain in this film. The star cast of the film also includes Vivekh, Thambi Ramaiah, Yogi Babu, Robo Shankar and Kovai Sarala.

D Imman has composed music for the film and most of the songs from the film (that were released in the recent past) have become chart busters already. Cinematography has been done by Vetri and the editing has been handled by Ruben. Ajith fans are also set to celebrate Pongal by seeing their Thala on the big screen.
