'Walking/Talking Strawberry Icecream' will be a romantic film

Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara's production house, Rowdy Pictures, which will be presenting Vasanth Ravi-Bharathirajaa's 'Rocky' and 'Koozhangal', will be bankrolling a new film titled, 'Walking/Talking Strawberry Icecream'.
The film will be directed by a newcomer Vinayak V, a former associate of Vignesh Shivan. Vinayak worked with Vignesh in two of his earlier films, 'Naanum Rowdydhaan' starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara and Suriya-Keerthy Suresh starrer 'Thaana Serndha Koottam'.Vinayak has written a romantic script and we hear that Vignesh and Nayan instantly liked the script that they decided to produce it. Vijay Sethupathi took to his social media to announce the project, yesterday.
While the film is still in the pre-production stage, the team, we hear, is in the process of finalising the cast and crew members. Announcements regarding the same will be made soon. The team is likely to begin shoot in Chennai by April.
Vignesh Shivan, meanwhile, is busy with his upcoming directorial 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal', which has Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni in the lead roles. The film, which has music by Anirudh Ravichander, released the first single on Valentine's Day. 'Rendu Kaadhal' has been rendered by Anirudh Ravichander, Shakthisree Gopalan & Aishwarya Suresh Bindra, with lyrics by the director himself.
