Yash Raj Films enter K-town

Yash Raj Films, one of the leading names in Bollywood, is foraying into Kollywood with Aaha Kalyanam a remake of Band Baaja Baaraat. The film is a romantic comedy about wedding planners starring Nani of Eega fame and Vani Gupta in the lead. Directed by Gokul, a former associate of Vishnuvardhan, the film has music composed by Dharan.
While the first look of the film has been released, the teaser will be screened along with Dhoom 3 across Tamil Nadu.While the original Hindi version was a hit, one wonders how will the remake in Tamil turn out to be. With the Bollywood giant be able to pull off a hit down south as well?
