‘You will walk out satisfied’, promises director Cibi Chakravarthy about Rajinikanth starrer ‘Thalaivar173’

Director Cibi Chakravarthy will direct the upcoming Rajinikanth starrer, tentatively named ‘Thalaivar173.’ The project has a lot of anticipation as it is also backed by Kamal Haasan, making it a collaboration between the two Tamil veterans. Recently, the director promised fans that they will be walking out satisfied after watching the upcoming film.Cibi Chakravarthy recently spoke during the pre-release event of Soundarya Rajinikanth’s film ‘With Love’. As per IANS, he said, “I am meeting all of you after the announcement of #Thalaivar173 only now. So, I wish to say something here.” He also shared that many people wished him after the announcement. “I even got wishes from people I didn’t expect to receive,” he said. He also spoke about doubts some people had. “I also understand the concern of a few, ‘Is this person doing it?’” The ‘Don’ director then made a strong promise. He said, “I want to say only one thing with love. As a fan of Thalaivar, I want to tell the fans of Thalaivar and his family, when you walk out of the theatres after watching #Thalaivar173, you will be walking out with satisfaction. It’s a promise. Again, I am saying, It’s a promise.” For the unversed, at first, director Sundar C was supposed to direct the film. Later, he stepped away from the project. In his note, he said, “Due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances, I have made the difficult decision to step back from the prestigious project, #Thalaivar173.” He also said the film was a dream for him and thanked Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan for the chance. After his exit, the makers announced Cibi Chakravarthy as the director. The film carries the tagline ‘Every family has a hero’.The music of the film will be composed by musician Anirudh Ravichander.
