The coming-of-age drama, focusing on a 15-year-old's journey, saw a significant 38.6% growth on its third day. The film's steady performance indicates a positive reception for the actor's latest Tamil venture.
Suraj Venjaramoodu's Tamil film 'Youth' is showing a steady performance at the box office as it collected Rs 4.85 crore net on Day 3 across 1,733 shows.Youth Movie ReviewThis marks 38.6% growth compared to Day 2, where it earned Rs 3.50 crore. The Tamil version recorded an occupancy of around 53% as reported by the Sacnilk website.

Total collections near Rs 12 crore

Directed by Ken Karunas, the film has now reached a total India net collection of Rs 11.95 crore and its India gross stands at Rs 13.69 crore after three days.The film is nearing the Rs 12 crore milestone, which is a decent achievement for a coming-of-age drama. After his appearance in Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, 'Youth' marks another step in Suraj Venjaramoodu's Tamil journey.Speaking about working in Tamil cinema, the actor told OTT Play, “For example, if I am doing a Malayalam film and I know everything about the story, I can say a dialogue or improvise on spot. But in Tamil, I have to learn the language, there is preparation time needed between scenes and learn the knacks. While in Malayalam, I want scenes to be shot without gaps, in Tamil, I need some time between them.”

Story focuses on teenage journey

'Youth' is a coming-of-age drama that follows the life of a 15-year-old boy named Praveen and the story explores his journey through adolescence, relationships, and heartbreaks.
As he navigates young love and emotional challenges, he begins to understand the deeper meaning of relationships.The film stars Ken Karunas, Anishma Anilkumar, Devadarshini, along with Suraj Venjaramoodu in key roles.Looking ahead, Suraj Venjaramoodu has several Tamil projects lined up. He is set to appear in Kara, starring Dhanush. He will also be part of Jailer 2, featuring Rajinikanth, and Texla, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth.
